When the Institute of Management was awarded its Royal Charter in April 2002 they were also granted the right to award the title of "Chartered Manager" to those who could demonstrate that they had the necessary skills.

On-line assessment leads to a final panel interview where impact is tested and probed, before the award of the designation of Chartered Manager - the accolade of the true professional.
